Having worked with a wide range of children with learning disabilities,

use could bring children up to a normal reading rate and comprehension
within 6 months of use. Having contacted the inventor directly I, somewhat
sceptically, purchased the program and, after 6 months of twice-weekly use,
the child had improved dramatically and no longer needed to wear the
coloured glasses to school. The length of treatment is, in part, dependent
on the severity of the disability and would be ideal for use in the

in 2007, and since that time I have begun an independent investigation of
the efficacy of the PATH treatment in shifting reading ability and Visual
Evoked Potential (VEP) responses in college students with reading
difficulties. We found that after a short amount of training, the abnormal
VEP of dyslexics now had normal VEPS, as reported at the 2010 annual meeting
of the College of Developemntal Optometrists. Dr. Lawton has specified not
only the mechanism of disordered processing in dyslexia, a putative

STUDY After three years of traditional rehabilitation and vision therapy, which produced marginal improvements, Chelsea Ellwood was introduced to Perception Attention Therapy for Harmony (PATH) therapy.
